"Operation Gratitude" BBQs for Soldiers
In the aftermath of the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th, our friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors rushed to the front lines. Despite not being Israelis, as proud Zionists on a Masa program in Tel Aviv, we felt a strong pull to stay in Israel.
In doing so, we were amazed to find how quickly and efficiently the entire country rallied to support Israel in any way they could.
We wanted to get involved and began fundraising for equipment, cooking meals for soldiers and displaced families, and helping struggling farmers. Still, we felt like we could be doing more.
Enter Operation Gratitude: With amazing volunteers, young Jewish internationals living both in and out of Israel we’re firing up the grill and barbecuing at bases throughout Israel!
Why BBQs, you ask? We believe there’s something special about a good meal, music, and shared camaraderie. Our goals?
1) Ensure that our IDF heroes know they have support from us worldwide.
2) Bring young international Jews in touch with our soldiers, getting them involved to strengthen the connection between them and Israel.
But we can’t keep the flames going without your support. All donations go towards food and supplies, ensuring our soldiers get a much-needed morale boost.
Your help matters, big time, and we thank you for joining our mission. Am Yisrael Chai! 🇮🇱💙
